November 19, 2019

Good luck to all the Deer Hunters, and be safe!

North Country Snowmobile Club Terra-X/Vintage Enduro, Ontonagon, MI., Jan 11, 2020:

We’re going to start the day by running Time Trials for Terra-X.  The 3 fastest sleds in the classes will advance to the 2-sled Shoot-Out.  #3 Seed will take on the # 2 seed in a 3 lap Semi-Final.  The winner of that will than take on the # 1 seed in the 3 sled Class Championship.  After the Terra-X finals are done we are going to run the Vintage Enduro.  This is for 500 cc sleds 20 years and older.  That means that 2000 and older sleds can run in this.  The Vintage Enduro will be 30 minutes plus 2 laps.

The Terra-X and Vintage Enduro is on a closed course that is approximately 3/4 of a mile long.  If you go to YouTube you will find a video done by Jason Asselin of Just Snowmobiles to get an idea of the course from last year.

As we have done for all our racing since 1995, we do not take registration the day of the race.  Final registration will be Friday Night, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EASTERN time or by Pre-Registering.  In the very near future I will be sending out the Vintage Enduro Registration form.  The Terra-X Registration is on our website, www.mastersracing.net .  The Vintage Enduro Registration is attached to this.
The Awards Party will be 60 to 90 minutes after the conclusion of the races in the North Country Snowmobile Clubhouse.

The only rule change for this year is that no one is allowed to enter more than 2 classes in Pro Stock and 2 classes in Pro Mod, for a maximum total of 4 classes.  However, you can enter the 4 classes AND if you are 40 and older, you can also enter the Spirit Class.  It will be at the MACH, this hillclimb, that the Spirit Class winner will get one entry to the 2020 World Championship Hillclmb in Jackson, WY.  We will also give the top 2 in the Pro Stock King of the Hill and the top 2 in the Pro Mod King of the Hill a qualifying entry to the World Championship.  It will be at this race that we will hand out 5 entry’s to the World Championship.  REMEMBER, once you have qualified with an entry ( s ) to the World Championship, you can use those entry’s for whatever class you choose at Jackson.

We will also be running the 120 Stock, 120 Mod, Vintage and d Snow Bike at this race.  The TOP racers in this class will be the ONLY racers that will qualify for the Ojibwa Casino WINTERNATIONALS on Feb 28th, where we will run the top 3 racers in each of these classes in a King of the Hill for those classes.

In an effort to secure out MAJOR Sponsorship, Ojibwa Casino’s, we are going to pay out the cash winners in each class at our Hillcimb Party on Feb 22nd at the Ojibwa Casino.  The ONLY money we are going to pay out for the top 3 in each class from the MACH will be the Pro Stock King of the Hill and the Pro Mod King of the Hill.  WNEED THE RACERS TO SUPPORT our MAJOR SPONSOR, the Ojibwa Casino.
