Ojibwa Casino WINTERNATIONALS and Duluth Hillcross & Snow Drags

February 14, 2020

Ojibwa Casino WINTERNATIONALS Hillclimb at Whealkate Bluff in South Range, MI., Saturday, Feb 22, 2020:
Those that want to earn a ‘credit’ to apply to your Class entry fee’s, we would really appreciate any and all help setting up the grounds, course, fencing, banners on Friday, Feb 21st, starting at 1:00 pm ET.  Same with help in tearing down at the end of the competition.
Due to the amount of racers we had at the Triest Forest Products-Vollwerth’s Meats Mid America Championship Hillclimb (MACH) on Feb. 2nd, and coming real close to not being able to get all the runs in before dusk, we are going back to what we used to do for years, that is limit the amount of entry’s a racer can sign up for to 3 Pro Classes.  HOWEVER, any racer that PRE-REGISTERS over the mail and we receive that registration and fee’s by Thursday, Feb 20, 2020, can still sign up for 4 Pro Classes.  ALSO, any racer that placed in the TOP 3 of the class they want to sign up for that 4th class, will be allowed to do so.
To Pre-Register, send the registration form and fee’s too:  MASTERS, % Winternationals, 610 Greenland Road, Ontonagon, MI. 49953.  Make check out too:  MASTERS.   You’ll find the Hillclimb Registration on our Registration page.
Final Registration will be Friday Night, Feb 21st, from 6 to 8:00 pm EASTERN time (5 to 7 pm Central).  This will be in the Ojibwa Casino of Baraga Conference Room.  Same place we had it for the MACH.  At 8:00 pm ET we will have our MANDATORY Driver/Crew Member meeting.  Everyone has to either have the racer or a crew member specifically for the racer attend this meeting.  This will be the ONLY time that a racer and/or crew member can get FREE admission.  As always every racer and 1 Crew Member that attends this meeting and signs the Waiver of Liability is allowed FREE Admission .
It will be at the Racer Registration and Meeting that the Ojibwa Casino will be handing out $20.00 in FREE CASINO Play!
ALL those that do not attend Friday Night’s Meeting will have to pay $20.00/person at the Racers gate and sign the Waiver of Liability at the Racers gate on Saturday Morning.  Half of those proceeds on Saturday Morning go to the Christian Motorcyclist Association(CMA) Run for the Son.  The CMA is a volunteer organization that has always volunteered to help us with Parking and Security.  It will be either at Friday Night’s meeting or Saturday Morning at the gate that you will be given a Pit Pass.
No one will be allowed in the Pits or in the Staging area without a Pit Pass.  This includes Parents and Family that will want to go to Staging for the 120’s, 200’s, and Juniors.
Race Schedule for Saturday, Feb 22nd:
We are going to have the MANDATORY Drivers Meeting at 9:00 am ET.  10 minutes after the Invocation and the playing of the National Anthem, we will be going to the Snow Bikes and their 1st run.  We’re shooting to start the competition no later then 9:30 am ET. After the Snow Bikes run, we will be going to the Pro Open Mod, and work our way down from Big to little cc on the 1st Round.  After the 1st Round of the Pro Division classes we will go to Vintage, Women’s, Spirit, Juniors.  HOWEVER, we will finish whatever class we are running around Noon, and go to the 120 Mods and 120 Stock classes.  The 120’s and 200’s are the only classes that we hand out the Trophy’s right at the hill.  They will run both runs and the 120 King of the Hill, then return to where we left off.
After both rounds have been run, we will be going to the Women’s Queen of the Hill, Coyote Snow Bike King of the Hill, Ojibwa Casino Pro Stock King of the Hill, and finish with the Vollwerth’s Meats Pro Mod King of the Hill.
We will NOT be handing out ANY Cash or Awards at the Hill.  ALL the Cash and Awards from the Ojibwa Casino WINTERNATIONALS and the Class Cash Awards from the MACH on Feb 2nd will be handed out at our FIRST Ojibwa Casino Racing Series Awards Party.
The Awards Party will be held in the Ojibwa Casino Conference Room.  We’re hoping to have the grounds cleared and tore down as fast as we can and immediately head to the Casino.  We’re ‘shooting’ for around 7:00 pm ET.   As always, the MASTERS does NOT send out Trophy’s or cash awards.  We’re asking for a good turnout of racers, crew, and fans for the Awards Party.
If you have any questions on ANYTHING, please e-mail me:  sschulz [at] jamadots [dot] com  I will try to answer your calls, but as you can imagine, Sandy and I will be extremely busy getting ready for the Ojibwa Casino WINTERNATIONALS Hillclimb.
